Saviola, Drenthe & Higuain Can Replace Robinho & Migule Torres Deserves A Raise

Written by Adam Bader on Tuesday, 09 September 08, 01:21 AM

What is next: sucking Arabs' .......%$

I was just playing PES 2008 on my Playstation and I beat Barcelona 3-1 At the Cam Nou. The difficulty level was "Campione" (in English: champion) and it is the most difficult level in which the opposing team would really kick your ass.

I lined up Saviola and Nistelrooy in attack, while Robben and Drenthe on the wings. They were awesome!

It just that this match got me thinking about who would replace Robinho from the existing team? I think If Schuster playes Robben on the left where he is probably more comfortable, we could use both Saviola and Higuain on...

Ramos Set To Sign A Life-Time Contract, Man City Also Wanted Van Nistelrooy & Brazilian Legends Criticize Robinho

Written by Adam Bader on Thursday, 04 September 08, 01:19 AM

Ramos

I'm very happy that the Robinho saga has finally ended and I think it has ended happily with us offloading an unhappy lad for a lot of cash. And the club has now revealed that they will offer Sergio Ramos a life time contract just like the ones they offered to Casillas and captain Rau'l.

The new improved contract would keep the excellent right back until he becomes 32, pretty much when he will retire. He would earn 6m euros a year, a salary that Robinho wanted badly, but one that Calderon refused to give.

While I believe that Sergio deserves such a contract, I have my concerns too. Signing a player for such a long period of time is a "gamble". Will he continue playing as he is currently doing? Or will he still be faithful to the club? He...

Robinho Speaks Again And Says He Wants Chelsea

Written by Adam Bader on Sunday, 31 August 08, 02:07 PM

Drenthe as a replacment for Robinho? Good idea, I say.

Robinho has held a press conference today announcing once again that he wishes to leave Real Madrid, heading to Chelsea. This is the second time that Robinho speaks about the issue publicly insisting that he is not interested in staying at the Bernabeu.

From what I understand, and from Robinho's statements, the club is still refusing to let him go unless they sign a replacment, something quite difficult considering that the transfer window is about to shut down.

"I have told Schuster and Pedja that I want to leave the club," Robinho told reporters. "The coach thinks that he can have me back, but I am only thinking about playing for Chelsea.
"My agent has gone to...

Robinho's Deal Gets Complicated, Real Want Valencia's Joaquin

It is really complicated. First, Calderon said that Robinho was going nowhere, then Robinho said he was going somewhere, then Calderon said that Robinho would fuck off and go to Chelsea, and this morning, Chelsea started selling Robinho's shirts,... and now, Chelsea stopped taking shirt orders, it has gotten really complicated. Do you know why? Because Calderon is playing around, he has stated today that Robinho will not leave unless a replacement is signed, and guess who is that replacement? It is Drogba, yes Drogba + 30m euros would guarantee Robinho's signature.

Whether Chelsea will...

I'm shocked: Real Madrid Terminate Robinho's Contract

Written by Adam Bader on Friday, 22 August 08, 11:41 PM

Robinho

This is just in: Real Madrid have officially announced in a statement on their official website that they are not going to force Robinho to stay and therefore will terminate his contract if he wishes too.

This clearly means that it is over and Robinho is free to leave. However, what I...

Looks Like Robinho Is Really Going For €40m

Written by Adam Bader on Friday, 22 August 08, 04:33 PM

UPDATE: Robinho has spoken publicly about moving to Chelsea! Via Guardian UK

"It's not my objective to continue at Real Madrid," he said in remarks reported by Brazilian website globoesporte.com. "I highly respect the club, the players, and especially the fans, who've always treated me well, but that's not my objective. I have an offer [from Chelsea] which is good for me and the club. I dream of playing in the English league.

"Chelsea have a great squad and a great team. My objective is to play there. I've got nothing against Real Madrid, but I hope to resolve this situation as soon as possible."

"It's not about money, I simply want to leave," Robinho insisted. "I...

Valencia 3 - 2 Real Madrid - Spanish Super Cup Review/Preview

 Real Madrid vs Valenica Supercup

Review:

Last night I had to visit someone and therefore I missed the match. From the reports and your comments, it seems that the defense sucked badly. I expected that with the absence of Pepe and Cannavaro.

I also heard that Robinho was crap. Not good for him, but If he was pretending to be crap to move to Chelsea, then he must be a jackass.

Anyway, I apologize for not providing more in-depth analysis, but boys, you all kick ass so please provide them in the comment section and I will include them here in the post.

UPDATE: here are my favorite comments so far, please...

Real Madrid Tell Robinho To Fuck Off & Schuster Wants Huntelaar

Written by Adam Bader on Thursday, 14 August 08, 10:38 AM

 Fuck off

This is the best news I've heard so far: Real Madrid Tell Robinho To Fuck Off! Awesome! Yeah, they are not going to let him go easily. Actually, Calderon held talks with Robinho and his agent and made clear to them that there is no way that he leaves. Done.

However, Chelsea officials are still hoping to snatch the kid. Wagner Ribeiro, Robbie's agent has said this to the Daily Star:

"I will try and do everything possible to get this resolved,"

"It is what Chelsea and Peter Kenyon want but there is no way they will pay what Madrid want."

So what does Madrid want in terms of money? Well, at least 35m euros. And Robinho says that is top...
